Terms of Service

Welcome to Mega Film Restaurant. By making a reservation, visiting our restaurant, or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

1. Reservations

1.1 Making a Reservation

• Reservations can be made by phone at +40 31 128 98 30, via email at contact@megafilmfestival.com, or through our website contact form
• Reservations are subject to availability and confirmation
• We recommend making reservations at least 48 hours in advance, especially for dinner service and weekends
• For parties of 8 or more guests, please contact us directly to discuss your requirements
• Private dining room reservations require advance booking and may have minimum spending requirements

1.2 Reservation Confirmation

• All reservations will be confirmed via email or phone
• Please arrive within 15 minutes of your reserved time. If you are running late, please contact us
• Tables are held for 15 minutes past the reservation time. After this grace period, the reservation may be released
• We reserve the right to seat partial parties if some members of your group have not arrived

1.3 Cancellation and Modification Policy

• Standard Reservations: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or modifications
• Private Events: Cancellations for private dining rooms or special events require 48 hours' notice
• Large Groups (8+ guests): Require 48 hours' notice for cancellations or significant changes
• Failure to provide adequate notice or no-shows may result in restrictions on future reservations
• For special tasting menus or wine pairings, we may require credit card information at booking, with potential cancellation fees

2. Dining Policies

2.1 Dress Code

• We maintain an upscale dining atmosphere and request smart casual attire
• We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing beachwear, athletic wear, or excessively casual clothing
• Gentlemen are encouraged to wear collared shirts; jackets are optional but appreciated for dinner service
• We reserve the right to refuse service to guests whose attire is not in keeping with our restaurant standards

2.2 Seating

• Table assignments are at the discretion of the restaurant management
• While we will do our best to accommodate seating preferences, specific table requests cannot be guaranteed
• We may combine tables for larger parties or seat couples at communal tables during busy periods
• Time limits may apply during peak dining hours to accommodate all reservations fairly

2.3 Children

• Children of all ages are welcome at Mega Film Restaurant
• Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times
• High chairs and children's menus are available upon request
• We ask that parents ensure children do not disturb other guests' dining experiences

3. Menu and Pricing

3.1 Menu Items

• Our menu changes seasonally to reflect the availability of fresh, local ingredients
• Menu items are subject to availability and may change without notice
• We make every effort to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies, but cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment
• Please inform your server of any dietary restrictions or allergies when ordering

3.2 Pricing and Payment

• All prices are listed in Romanian Lei (RON) or Euros (EUR) and include VAT where applicable
• Prices are subject to change without notice
• We accept cash, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), and debit cards
• A service charge of 10% may be added to groups of 8 or more
• Gratuities are at the guest's discretion and greatly appreciated by our staff

4. Private Events and Catering

4.1 Private Dining

• Private dining rooms are available for groups with advance reservation
• Minimum spending requirements apply for private room rentals
• Event menus must be finalized at least 7 days before the event date
• Final guest counts must be confirmed 48 hours in advance
• A deposit may be required for large events and will be applied to the final bill

4.2 Catering Services

• Off-site catering services require advance booking and menu consultation
• Pricing varies based on menu selections, guest count, and service requirements
• Delivery and setup fees may apply depending on location
• Cancellation policies for catering events are outlined in individual service agreements

5. Alcohol Service

• Alcoholic beverages are served only to guests 18 years of age or older in accordance with Romanian law
• Valid identification may be required for alcohol service
• We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to any guest at our discretion
• We are not responsible for guests who choose to drive after consuming alcohol
• Corkage fees apply if you wish to bring your own wine (please inquire in advance)

6. Liability and Conduct

6.1 Guest Conduct

• We expect all guests to behave respectfully toward other guests and our staff
• Disruptive, offensive, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated
• We reserve the right to refuse service or ask guests to leave if behavior is deemed inappropriate
• Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas in accordance with Romanian law

6.2 Lost or Damaged Property

• While we take reasonable precautions, we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property
• Guests are responsible for any damage they cause to restaurant property
• Lost and found items will be held for 30 days before being discarded or donated

6.3 Limitation of Liability

• Mega Film Restaurant is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for services on the date of the incident
• We maintain appropriate insurance coverage as required by Romanian law

7. Food Safety and Allergies

• We follow all applicable food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards
• Our kitchen handles common allergens including nuts, shellfish, gluten, dairy, and eggs
• While we accommodate dietary restrictions when possible, we cannot guarantee complete absence of allergens
• Guests with severe allergies dine at their own risk and should consult with management before ordering
• We are not liable for allergic reactions, but we take all reasonable precautions when informed of allergies

8. Photography and Media

• Personal photography for non-commercial use is permitted
• Professional photography or filming requires advance permission from management
• We may occasionally take photographs or videos in our restaurant for marketing purposes
• By dining with us, you consent to potentially being included in such materials unless you opt out
• Please be respectful of other guests' privacy when taking photographs

9. Gift Certificates and Promotions

• Gift certificates are available for purchase and have no expiration date unless otherwise stated
• Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash
• Promotional offers and discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated
• Special offers are subject to availability and may have restrictions
• We reserve the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time

10. Modifications to Terms

Mega Film Restaurant reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bucharest, Romania.
